Qualifications & Approach
My work is shaped by broad and intensive training in relationship therapy, couple work, sex therapy, trauma-informed practice, and evidence-informed approaches to change.
In the Hong Kong therapy market, this breadth is a genuine point of difference: it means I am not limited to one model or one way of understanding relationships.

Why I Work Integratively
I work integratively because relationships are not simple, and clients do not all need the same kind of help. Sometimes a couple needs practical tools for communication. Sometimes the work is about attachment, emotional safety, sexuality, trauma, conflict patterns, or old protective strategies that no longer serve the relationship. Drawing from several methods allows me to choose the approach that best fits the client, rather than asking the client to fit one fixed model.
In practice, this means therapy is structured but flexible. We can slow down emotional cycles, make sense of repeating patterns, build clearer conversations, work with intimacy and sexual concerns where relevant, and use practical changes between sessions. My Ackerman Institute for the Family, NYC, Post-Master’s Certificate in Sex Therapy is an important part of this training background. Ackerman is internationally recognised for couple and family therapy training, and its sex-therapy programme reflects a relational and systemic way of understanding intimacy, sexuality, culture, communication, and resilience.
